A group of Canadians, including the Council of Canadians and the Raging Grannies, set forth on voyageur canoes from the shores of the Ottawa River on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 to proclaim this message to all Canadians and to send this message to Bush, Harper and Calderon. “Our fresh water must not be contaminated, mistreated and exploited!” see CTV News.
